About Our Shop
Enchanting Soap Collections is Roberta Easter's dream to keep her ancestor’s craft alive. Growing up in Placitas, New Mexico, Roberta watched her grandmother, nimble with a needle and thread, innovative with the materials available to her, and always working hard to provide clothing, food, and comfort to her family. In the same way, Roberta’s mother was a beautiful example of the importance of tradition and pride that comes from creating with your own hands.
With the sweet memories of homemade pies, jellies and jams, and lye soap curing in the backyard, Roberta continues the tradition of making, not by necessity but fueled with passion for her craft. Learning the best techniques for making soaps and body products, she wild-forages natural and nourishing ingredients to heal, invigorate, and inspire anyone who comes in contact with her work.
In January 2022, Chrystal Trykoski, Roberta’s daughter, joined Roberta as her partner in Enchanting Soap Collections. They are certified by NM Ture and are certified NM Made Manufacturers. They pride themselves on creating products with only the finest local, organic, natural and sustainable ingredients. They enjoy working with local businesses to create new and unique products by branding and manufacturing for them.
Together, Roberta and Chrystal have the vision to help their community by not only making quality soap, bath and body products for the entire family. They encourage women to recognize their self-worth and provide jobs for women who have been marginalized, justice-involved, or who are on their recovery journey. By supporting women, They believe they will find a sense of purpose and meaning in their lives.
